Unlike evaporative technology cooling vests, the Phase Change Cooling Vest is completely dry.... you do not soak it in water. This allows you to ride without the "slimy", wet feeling associated with evaporation vests.  Since the phase change technology is a conductive heat transfer technology, not only will you "feel" the difference, your body's core temperature will remain stable longer than with any other "portable" technology."
