Cycle Accessory Store wants to take the guesswork out of buying a Bluetooth System for your GL1800, 2001 - NOW including the 2012!  We have put together all the components required for a Rider to have the entire audio system on the Goldwing GL1800 stream in Bluetooth to a J&M Bluetooth headset.  Your CB, Intercom, Auxiliary, Stereo, and Nav System can now be wireless.  You can also pair 6 other peripherals to your headset like a Bluetooth capable cell phone, iPod or MP3 player and the list goes on.

• This is a J&M custom Blu<>Hub® dongle05 module featuring our exclusive JMAHP (J&M Motorcycle Audio Headset Profile) Bluetooth® software profile, transmitting true stereo to 1 or 2 J&M Bluetooth headsets, with simultaneous microphone signals transmitted back down to the dongle.
  
  When 2 J&M Bluetooth headsets are linked to the dongle06, the continuous helmet-to-helmet intercom feature is activated thru the dongle.  Rider and passenger can also each simultaneously link their J&M Bluetooth helmet headsets to their own cell phone or Garmin Zumo, while linked to the dongle06.
  
  This dongle06 is used to create a full featured motorcycle audio system, with stereo music, CB/FRS, Navigation commands, cell phone etc available depending upon the capabilities of the external equipment being connected.  The J&M Dongle06 is powered by the electrical system on the motorcycle (no batteries in the dongle to charge).  This new dongle can be connected to most motorcycle audio system configurations by using one of the special connection harnesses offered as an extra cost accessory to this custom dongle.

• This harness cable assembly is designed to integrate the J&M Blu<>Hub® custom dongle06 to the stock audio system on all years of the Honda GL-1800.  The J&M Bluetooth headset/dongle05 combination when used in this configuration will provide all of the standard functions of normal corded headsets on the GL-1800 audio system, but without the cord, including stereo music to the headsets, driver/passenger intercom, Honda CB radio (if so equipped) etc.
  
  Features of this dongle06 GL-1800 audio system integration include;
  
  ** No in-headset echo or sound delay when using the GL’s driver/passenger intercom system.
  
  ** Rider and passenger can each simultaneously link their J&M Bluetooth headset to their own cell phone or Garmin Zumo, for private, in-helmet cell phone communications and/or nav commands.
  
  ** Passenger will be able to use their own music volume control that may already be installed ((Honda or J&M)), separate from the driver.
  
  ** Dongle06 harness has input plugs included for the 4 various J&M radar detector harnesses (extra cost item), with the radar detector beep/brap heard only in the DRIVER’S Bluetooth headset.
  
  ** The stock Honda corded headset connectors can still be used, when the dongle06 is integrated into the GL-1800 audio system.
  
  This cable harness kit includes externally mounted driver/passenger linking/pairing switches, integration component box, all necessary cables, harnesses, & connection spades and complete installation/operation instructions.

Superior audio fidelity has been achieved with our Ultra-slim, wide-fidelity helmet speakers. (Proper acoustical installation required). This headset also provides the industry’s best combination of wind and ambient noise reduction with the AeroMike® V miniature boom microphone.
  
  Bluetooth control head unit features the CSR BluecoreV enhanced data rate (EDR) Bluetooth module, for easy pairing to most Bluetooth enabled audio devices available.  The proprietary software package including the standard Bluetooth profiles of HSP, (Headset Profile) HFP, (Hands Free Profile), A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) along with the J&M Exclusive JMAHP (J&M Motorcycle Audio Headset Profile) & JMDPI (J&M Driver/Passenger Intercom Profile) is the most advanced Bluetooth software stack/package available anywhere.
  
  Note: J&M’s Bluetooth helmet-to-helmet intercom software profile (JMDPI) was designed for wireless driver/passenger (same motorcycle) communications, and while it can be used for bike-to-bike communications, the long-range performance cannot be guaranteed.  Control head is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion/Polymer power cell providing 9-13 hours of use from a full charge (12-16 hours with the optional fat battery).  This headset kit includes all necessary mounting hardware, 110/220v charger adapter/transformer and complete installation/operation instructions.
